I have been involved in various NGOs, for a very long time, but I find Masonry to be unique and unparalleled. This unique organization was able to impress the great stalwarts like Swami Vivekananda, Motilal Nehru, Founder of Lions Club, Founder of Rotary Club, Founder of Jaycees International and almost all presidents of United States of America and many more. Ever since I heard about Free Masonary, I had a dream. The Dream of joining Free Masonry. After my name was proposed in Lodge Keys I had to wait for One year before I could be initiated into Free Masonary. And I regret not joining this organization much earlier.
What a great honor to occupy the Eastern Chair, of our Lodge Keys No: 297!!! My predecessors have set a tremendous bench mark. But I am sure and confident with the help, support and guidance from my Lodge brethren, we can surpass this and take Lodge Keys to much greater heights. I believe "If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now let us put the foundations under them." Let us set the goals, work hard with dedication and devotion and involve ourselves fully in Masonary. Quality is more important than quantity. Let us strive to get more masonry into men, rather than more men into masonry.
I would love to have twining with various sister lodges within and beyond India. It is said that the journey to distant goals always begins with small steps. So let us take this small step now. Let us look to the future, because that is where we will spend the rest of our lives.
I am enjoying my relationship with this organization, and, would like to see that the members of the society around me should also enjoy and explore. I request you to please come out with your suggestions as I firmly believe in the words which say "Seek first to understand, then to be understood. Let us "Do something good to the mankind and leave a mark wherever we are, whatever we do. Let us make the year 2010 memorable one for each and everyone of us.
